Lesgo is a UI design concept for an online tutoring platform that connects students with private teachers based on subject, availability, and location. The platform was designed to simplify the process of finding, booking, and communicating with tutors — all through a friendly and intuitive interface.
Context
Private tutoring is still a valuable learning method in Indonesia, but many students struggle to find trusted teachers who fit their needs.
Lesgo was envisioned as a digital platform to bridge that gap, especially for students in secondary school and university levels. The platform aimed to create an easier, more accessible way to find qualified tutors nearby.

Goals
The main goal was to design a user-friendly tutoring platform that feels modern, trustworthy, and easy to use for both students and teachers. The design needed to minimize friction in the booking process while keeping the overall experience clean, lightweight, and responsive across devices.
Challenge
The biggest challenge was creating a layout that works for two user types — students and tutors — each with different needs and behaviors. At the same time, the flow had to remain seamless, especially on mobile, where most users would access the platform.
Solution
To solve this, I created a UI system that shares visual consistency across both user roles, but presents personalized dashboards, features, and actions. The entire flow was optimized for clarity and low-cognitive load.
- Dual Dashboard UI: Separate home views for students and tutors, designed with specific actions in mind (bookings vs. schedule management).
- Streamlined Booking Flow: Subject, availability, and price filters were placed up front to speed up the search-to-book process.
- Clean, Friendly Aesthetic: Rounded visuals, soft color schemes, and helpful icons were used to make the app feel welcoming and trustworthy.
Results
The Lesgo UI design successfully conveyed the platform’s potential to investors and mentors during a business pitching session. It is now being considered for MVP development, with further testing planned to refine onboarding and search experiences.
